Save and search Teak cards directly from Raycast
Use Teak in Raycast to save ideas and find cards without leaving your keyboard flow.
Quick setup
Install the extension
Sign in with your browser
Run Search Cards and choose Sign in with Browser. Finish sign-in in your browser, then return to Raycast.
Using an API key
Prefer an API key? Paste one from Teak Settings → Security → API keys into the extension preferences. A configured key takes precedence over browser sign-in. See the API guide for key limits and rotation.
Commands
- Quick Save: Open an input form to type or paste text and URLs to save.
- Save to Teak: Save any text or URL in one step. Accepts an optional argument and works as a Raycast fallback command, so pressing Enter on a root search with no results can save that query straight to Teak.
- Save Clipboard: Save the current clipboard contents to Teak with no prompt. A copied file or image is uploaded as a file card.
- Save Selected Text: Save the text currently highlighted in any app. Ideal paired with a global hotkey.
- Save Current Browser Tab: Save the active browser tab directly from Raycast. If the page is already in Teak, it says Already saved and offers to open the card instead. Requires the Raycast Browser Extension.
- Save Finder Selection: Upload the files selected in Finder, up to 100 MB each, the same as dropping them on the web app.
- Search Cards: Find and open cards instantly. Results keep loading as you scroll.
- Favorites: Jump to your starred cards.
- Browse Tags: See every tag in your vault with per-tag card counts, then drill into a tag to search within it.
Like the web, Teak works out the card type from what you save: a URL becomes a link, text in quotation marks becomes a quote, and a list of colors becomes a palette. Structured Markdown stays a text card exactly as entered.
Search filters
Type these into Search Cards or Favorites, or pick them from the Filters actions:

Card details and actions
A card shows its image, text, notes, Teak’s summary and tags, file name and size, link facts, palette colors, and transcript. Raycast can’t play video or audio or preview documents, so use Open File (⌘⇧O) or Open in Teak (⌘O) for those.
- Edit Card (⌘E): change notes and tags, rewrite text and quote cards, and remove tags Teak added.
- Copy Color: copy any color from a palette or image.
- Move to Trash (⌃X): moves the card to Trash with an Undo option.
- In Trash, Restore (⌘⇧R) brings a card back, and Delete Forever (⌃X) removes it and its files after you confirm. Teak empties Trash after 30 days.
AI Tools
Teak exposes the following tools for Raycast AI:

AI tools use the same sign-in as the extension — no extra setup required.
Security
- Use Sign Out in Search Cards. Signing out disconnects Raycast across all its installations; reconnecting can take about five minutes. If the saved sign-in has already expired, Raycast signs out only this Mac and says so — disconnect other installations in Settings → Security → Connected apps. If the network fails, your credentials stay saved so you can retry.

Troubleshooting
If Connection unavailable appears, check your connection and choose Retry Connection. Your saved sign-in stays available.
