Mobile App (iOS)
Install, set up, and use the Teak mobile app on iPhone
The Teak mobile app lets you save inspiration on the go, capture voice notes, upload files, and browse your full library — all synced in real time with your other devices.
Requirements
- iPhone running iOS 16.4 or newer
- A Teak account
Install
Download the app from the App Store and sign in with your Teak account.
On first launch, sign in with Apple, Google, or email. New email accounts need a password of at least 8 characters and email verification before the first sign-in.
Saving Content
Open the Add tab to save new content manually:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Text or URL | Type or paste any text or link |
| Record Audio | Record a voice note; Teak auto-transcribes it |
| Upload Files | Pick images, documents, or other files from your device |
Share Sheet (Import from Other Apps)
Use the iOS Share Sheet to save content to Teak without leaving another app:
- In any app (Safari, Photos, Files, etc.), tap the Share button.
- Select Teak from the share destinations.
- The Teak share extension opens and saves the item automatically.
The share extension shows live status while saving. If it asks you to sign in, open Teak, sign in, then retry.
Supported share sources include links, text, images, and files, with the same format support as the web app (see Features), up to 100 MB — except Markdown shares, which become text cards limited to 512 KiB.
Settings
The Settings tab lets you:
- Switch appearance between Auto (follows iOS system setting), Light, and Dark via Settings → Appearance
- View your account email and card count
- Sign out
- Delete your account
